About Me

frederick boot campsMy name is Steve Roy. I’ve been an exercise nut as long as I can remember, although I didn’t start to realize my true passion for it until the mid 90′s. It was actually in 1997 when I first decided to make a living in the fitness industry.

I took a job as a trainer at a Fitness First Health Club in Germantown, Maryland and fell in love with the idea of getting paid to help people reach their physical goals. Not only that, but I’ve made more than a few friends along the way.

I have spent that last 13 years working in various health clubs like RallySport in Boulder, CO and The Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs, but have spent most of my training years working in my clients homes.

I have been certified through several organizations over the years and am currently certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have found that the NASM has one of the most comprehensive programs out there and chose it for that reason.

My Goals:

My goal is to educate folks about enjoying a healthier lifestyle, living a better quality of life, and living longer. There is so much misinformation and conflicting information about health and fitness that I think a lot of people have really no idea what to believe.

This site is designed to give honest and straight-forward advice and offer an experienced perspective into an often confusing and ever-changing world of fitness and health.
